PLATFORM ENHANCEMENTS
Customizable Report Forms
You can now create custom forms for reports, allowing you to further configure the report form to meet your needs, including:
- Adding tooltips to help your users understand fields
- Changing field labels to make them more applicable to your organization
- Require additional fields on your forms, like "report folder"
Closing Tasks from Parent Records
To close a task, you previously had to go to each task and close them individually. With this update, we added buttons on the Parent Record and right-hand panel to close tasks more efficiently. This update makes it significantly easier for you to manage your tasks, removes extra clicks and saves time for heavy task management users.
External Events Updates : Advanced Search
In 2022, we launched our External Events module which gives you the ability to manage your severe weather alerts, additional alert feeds and notifications with greater flexibility. With this update, you can now use our advanced search capabilities within External Events. Additional new functionality includes:
- Saving views and favoriting filters to save you time when revisiting a prior feed
- The ability to control and set the columns visible to have more transparency on one screen
New Custom Form Attributes: In-Line Panels
You can now embed and display a related form in-line with another form, saving you time and adding a layer of visibility when working with forms in Origami. Here are a few examples of how this feature can be used:
- You can display an Employee Form on your Claims Form so that the entire employee record appears directly on the claim form
- You can include any Insurance Policy information on your claim form
- This feature can be especially useful for clients using Grant Access
- For anyone receiving grant access links, you have the ability to display the entire form of a related form so that the person receiving the link has visibility to that related record
- For our EHS users, this can be incredibly beneficial when sending grant access links for Root Cause Analysis
Dashboard Enhancements
Dashboard Access Groups
You now have the ability to create dashboard access groups to categorize and set up specific permissions for dashboard folders when distributing and working with dashboards in your organization. Based on these access groups, you can assign specific permissions for each group, such as viewing, editing, creating, deleting or full access. This gives you more flexibility in allowing certain groups and employees at your organization to have specific access to specific dashboards.

New KPI Panel Functionality
Before, you could only have one KPI panel on your dashboard and it was locked to the top of your dashboard. Now, you can add multiple KPI panels to your dashboards and rearrange those KPI panels within your dashboard. This gives you more autonomy over your dashboard formatting to fit your needs.
